Film yang mengangkat kisah para jagoan dari game Tekken bukanlah pertama kali dibuat. Namun sayang, pada beberapa seri sebelumnya tidak memuaskan para gamer lantaran dianggap tidak sesuai dengan versi aslinya.
Nah, kini film Tekken kembali dibuat. Bukan oleh produsen film asal Hollywood, melainkan oleh Namco, yakni pengembang game yang membuat tokoh dan cerita asli dalam serial Tekken. Jadi sudah bisa terbayang bukan, seperti apa cikal bakal film ini nanti?
Film ini konon akan mengambil cerita di antara Tekken 5 dan 6. Sedangkan proses pembuatannya dibantu oleh Digital Frontier (pembuat Residen Evil Degeneration) dan skripnya ditulis oleh Dai Sato (penulis Cowboy Bebop). Film ini pun dijanjikan bakal tampil dengan grafis luar biasa.
